The Problem

We created Whag because over the past five years, over $12B has been lost or stolen due to phishing and BEC. Between January 1st, 2021, and March 31st, 2022, alone, over $1.1B was reported to the FTC as lost or stolen due to fraud originating on social media. And there’s no end in sight.

Our Solution: Whag Features

After spending months interviewing victims and researching the landscape, we realized that most hacks could be traced back to one thing – a malicious link. We created Whag to help keep content creators, business owners, and everyday web users safe online and we believe that the four core features we’re making available at launch will play an integral role in making that happen. Those core features are:

  1. Whag Tags
  2. Whag Verified Links
  3. Whag Whitelists
  4. The Community Blacklist

How Whag Can Help You

You’ll be able to create a verified digital identity with Whag Tags, create and share links with provenance with our Whag Verified Links, organize and share your verified links with Whag Whitelists, and identify and block suspicious and malicious links with The Community Blacklist. We’re working on a chrome extension that will block malicious links in real time and we even have a Discord bot and Slack integration in the works.

Join Our Beta

As our beta users, you’ll be the first to experience the benefits Whag can provide. We look forward to getting your feedback, hearing about your Whag Wins, and seeing all the innovative ways you use, interact with, and integrate our suite of products.

Thank you so much for joining us on this journey. Let’s work together to make the web safer for everyone, one link at a time.
